 James Bay Cree Communications Society is a Cree language radio      broadcaster servicing the Cree communities of Mistissini, Oujebougamau, Nemaska, Waswanipi, Waskaganish, Eastmain, Wemendji, Chisasibi, Whapmagoostoo and the Hydro camps of Nemaska, Rupert and EM1. The Cree population is approximately 18,000 within the Cree Territory ( Iyiuyuistchii).
